I've always wondered what all this rdf stuff is about. People who know about tend to rave about it. I recently watched a video presentation from Tim Berners-Lee (the guy who invented the net) about linked data, as was still unsure what he was talking about by the time he finished. http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/tim_berners_lee_on_the_next_web.html

I then watched a video about rdf in Drupal, which explains via example the power of rdf. I can now see the power of rdf. I won't try to explain it. Check the video.

Today I upgraded my website from Drupal 5.6 to 6.4. It did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. Mind you reading the instructions may have helped a bit :-) My old theme has not been upgrade to D6 so I choose another one. I think it prettier anyway!

Earlier this week I released the FusionCharts drupal module.

There are a number of charting modules available for Drupal these days, but in my opinion, this is the best. It has an API that allows charts to be drawn from a SQL query, or from an array of data, or for graphs to be created using a user interface, or from the views module.

Over the last while I've been doing some work on developing a good graphing module for Drupal. I am using the FusionCharts tools to do this. The module is still very much in development but is fully functional.

I listened to a podcast (http://www.lullabot.com/audiocast/podcast-55-john-albin-wilkins-and-zen-...) from Lullabot (Drupal expert company) about themeing, in particular the zen theme/zengine. There are some really nice Drupal themes that look like Drupal at the zengarden http://www.mezzoblue.com/zengarden/alldesigns.

Since I am finding myself doing a lot web development for people these days, I thought it was about time that I created myself a website. I am really hot on the Drupal CMS at the moment. It is fantastic with what you can do with it. It can do static content, social networking, e-commerce, and pretty much anything else you want it to. There are about 2,500 modules freely available to download from the http://www.drupal.org site.
